Crop images

Crop a batch of images to a consistent aspect ratio from the centre — the fastest way to make a mixed set of photos line up in a grid or a feed.

Crop images

Centre-crop to a common aspect ratio.

Runs in your browser — files are never uploaded.

Which ratio to choose

1:1 for profile pictures and product grids, 4:5 for the tallest image most social feeds allow, 16:9 for video thumbnails and hero banners, 3:2 for classic photography.

Cropping discards pixels permanently, so start from the largest version of the image you have.

Centre cropping and composition

A centre crop assumes the subject is in the middle. For portraits and off-centre compositions, check the results — you may prefer to crop those individually in an editor.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose the crop position?

This tool crops from the centre. Manual positioning is on the roadmap.

Does cropping reduce quality?

It removes pixels but does not re-compress the remaining area beyond a single save.

Can I crop a batch?

Yes, up to 20 images at once.
